Physician Assistant

1st Choice Healthcare is a non-profit, Joint Commission-accredited, Federally Qualified Health Center. We provide patient-centered care to all members of our community, including those unable to afford services. Our team encourages patients to take an active role in their health and promotes preventive care.

The Physician Assistant is an integral member of the care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. This role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, formulating diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress. The Physician Assistant collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective management and continuity of care for clinic patients.

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent
• Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Arkansas
• Current DEA registration required
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
