Job SummaryAssist and support instructors in the fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion of the Upper Limb Prosthetics course. This support role aids in ensuring student safety during fabrication and patient model evaluation.
Essential Functions- Assist in labs with patient models.
- Assist in modification and fabrication labs.
- Monitor patient models and student safety in labs.
- Support instruction, fabrication, measurement, impression taking, modification, and fitting of upper limb prosthetics in the clinical portion.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Must be an ABC Prosthetist (CP) and/or Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO).
- Experience in upper limb prosthetics patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Salus at Drexel University campus (Elkins Park, PA) – In‑Person.
