Join our team as a CNA — Transport Driver and be the friendly face that safely escorts residents to appointments, outings, and errands across our hybrid campus (four 12‑bed cottages + 57‑bed traditional home).

- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, errands, and community outings.
- Provide compassionate assistance entering/exiting vehicles, secure wheelchair/safety restraints, and assist with transfers as needed.
- Accompany residents during outings, offering personal care, supervision, and companionship.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and routine checks; report maintenance needs.
- Complete accurate transport logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation.
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff about resident needs, schedules, and changes.
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times.
- Current CNA certification and active state certification in good standing.
- Age 25 or older.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on facility vehicles.
- Comfortable securing wheelchairs, assisting transfers, and helping residents with mobility needs.
- Professional, patient, punctual, and friendly—great with older adults.
- Ability to lift/move residents per policy and use mechanical lifts when required.
- Previous experience as a transport driver or in long‑term care.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Local knowledge and safe driving experience in varied weather.
- Day‑shift focused with occasional evening/weekend outings or other areas as specified by supervisor.
- Competitive pay with shift differentials and incentives. Sign on Bonus for Full Time.
