Join our team as a CNA — Transport Driver and be the friendly face that safely escorts residents to appointments, outings, and errands across our hybrid campus (four 12‑bed cottages + 57‑bed traditional home).

What you’ll do
  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, errands, and community outings.
  • Provide compassionate assistance entering/exiting vehicles, secure wheelchair/safety restraints, and assist with transfers as needed.
  • Accompany residents during outings, offering personal care, supervision, and companionship.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and routine checks; report maintenance needs.
  • Complete accurate transport logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with nursing staff about resident needs, schedules, and changes.
  • Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times.
Must-haves
  • Current CNA certification and active state certification in good standing.
  • Age 25 or older.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on facility vehicles.
  • Comfortable securing wheelchairs, assisting transfers, and helping residents with mobility needs.
  • Professional, patient, punctual, and friendly—great with older adults.
  • Ability to lift/move residents per policy and use mechanical lifts when required.
Nice-to-haves
  • Previous experience as a transport driver or in long‑term care.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Local knowledge and safe driving experience in varied weather.
Shifts & Pay
  • Day‑shift focused with occasional evening/weekend outings or other areas as specified by supervisor.
  • Competitive pay with shift differentials and incentives. Sign on Bonus for Full Time.
