Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, AR, is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Gravette Clinic.

The Medical Assistant provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse and/or physician and clinic manager. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.

Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

• Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience working in a medical clinic or office, preferred.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
• Float positions require a Valid Driver's License. This requires a Motor Vehicle Driving Record Background Check to be completed during the onboarding new hire process and throughout employment.
