Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Nights) Location
White Hall, AR
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute behavioral health settings, particularly in crisis stabilization and de-escalation techniques.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients with mental health disorders in a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Utilize verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage crises and ensure patient safety.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create and implement treatment plans.
- Float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in acute behavioral health settings.
- Current RN License.
- AHA BLS Certification.
- Handle With Care certification preferred.
- Cerner EHR experience required.
