Exercise Physiologist (Safety Sensitive)
Functions as a member of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab team and provides quality care for patients assigned by the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Director as referred by a licensed physician.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or acceptable related field such as Kinesiology (minimum) Master's Degree in Exercise Science preferred.
Experience Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab experience as an exercise physiologist preferred.
Certifications ACSM CES or RCEP, ACLS, PALS, CPR, Accucheck, Other ACSM certification
Skills Good oral and written abilities necessary to communicate with patients and co-workers, a must. Ability to follow direction and self-motivation required.

Physical Demands:
Must have no physical restrictions necessary to assist patient, move equipment, assist in emergency situations, must have no restrictions in verbal communication skills at time of hire or negotiation.

Demonstrates knowledge, competence in leadership skills, rehab principles and procedures. Possesses skills and knowledge necessary to care for patients according to their age specific needs.
Young Adults – ages 20 to 35
Middle Adults – ages 36 to 65
