We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dietary Manager to lead our dietary team and ensure exceptional meal service for our residents. As a Dietary Manager at Nightingale at Glenwood, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong leadership team and a stable, respected facility.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing daily dietary operations, meal preparation, and kitchen workflow. You will ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility dietary regulations, and work closely with the Registered Dietitian to maintain accurate diet orders and resident preferences. Additionally, you will manage food inventory, ordering, storage, and sanitation standards, and train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee daily dietary operations, meal preparation, and kitchen workflow

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility dietary regulations

  • Work closely with the Registered Dietitian to maintain accurate diet orders and resident preferences

  • Manage food inventory, ordering, storage, and sanitation standards

  • Train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff

  • Maintain documentation, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and regulatory audit readiness

  • Support positive resident experiences through quality meals and excellent customer service

  • Collaborate with nursing and administration to support overall facility operations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Healthcare/SNF dietary experience required

  • CDM preferred (Certified Dietary Manager)

  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, food service operations, and regulatory compliance

  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
