Job Description:

Corporate Director, Data Integrity & Health Records Shape the future of health information across our organization. We're seeking a strategic and visionary Corporate Director of Data Integrity & Health Records to lead enterprise-wide health information management (HIM) initiatives that strengthen data integrity, support regulatory compliance, and improve operational performance. In this executive leadership role, you'll help shape the future of health information by advancing data governance, interoperability, and innovative technology solutions that enhance access to accurate, timely health information for patients, providers, and care teams.

As a trusted organizational leader, you'll collaborate with executive leadership, clinical and operational teams, and external partners to develop and execute enterprise strategies that align with our mission, regulatory requirements, and long-term business objectives. What You'll Do
  • Provide executive leadership for enterprise-wide Health Information Management (HIM) operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Champion data integrity, health information governance, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency, data quality, and patient and provider access to health information.
  • Lead initiatives focused on interoperability, health information exchange, and electronic health record optimization.
  • Partner with executive leaders, clinical teams, IT, revenue cycle, compliance, and external stakeholders to implement transformational solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards related to health information management and privacy.
  • Drive organizational change through effective project leadership, process improvement, and adoption of best practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the HIM organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a health-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential with at least three years of supervisory or management experience, preferably within an academic or teaching healthcare environment; or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential with 10 or more years of progressive management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Health Information Management, revenue cycle compliance, and regulatory coding standards, including MS-DRGs, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.
  • Experience leading HIM operations, managing enterprise initiatives, and successfully driving organizational change.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), document imaging systems, and HIM technology applications, including at least one year of direct experience with HIM systems and project management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills with a proven ability to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health information exchange (HIE), personal health records (PHRs), interoperability standards, and electronic health record regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading enterprise data governance or digital transformation initiatives within a complex healthcare system.
