• 1 Assists in maximizing utilization of resources.
• 2 Provides training, orientation, and education of department staff to assist in maintaining staff's competency and to meet changes of healthcare reimbursement.
• 3 Assists with development and maintenance of a system to ensure timely and accurate registration and data collection.
• 4 Responds to written and verbal inquiries or complaints from patients to ensure expedient and tactful resolutions.

• Education/
  
  Skills:
  
  High school graduate or GED.
• Excellent computer and keyboard skills with appropriate applications.
• Ability to solve problems and to communicate effectively.
• NIMS training within (3) months.
• COAP within 3 months.
• Licensure:
  None.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of two (2) years hospital Patient Access, Business Services, or related experience.
• Tru Bridge and/or CPI experience preferred.
