Description:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists in the performance of a wide variety Interventional Vascular and Neuro Special procedures on patients of all ages. The IR Technlogist works under the direction of an IR or Neuro Physician.
Vocational or technical training or degree:
Accredited Radiography Program and 2 years or more of experience in Diagnostic Radiography/X-Ray. Ability to operate Radiographic equipment. Ability to communicate verbally and written. Possess excellent patient/customer service skills. Certification(s) required: ARRT (R) and BLS.
