this is a central office position.
the applicant would be responsible for
: serving as the liaison between the divisions and the external contractor regarding compliance issues and quality-related inspections; monitoring the work product and deliverables associated with a contract; visiting facilities, observing inspection activity, and making decisions related to inspection activities; reviewing audit tools and methodologies; completing quality assurance reviews of inspections; and determining trends, outcomes, and solutions associated with inspection activity.
previous experience in interpreting laws/regulations and using statistical tools to understand data is required.
preferred qualifications:
the applicant should be able to travel two-four nights per week.
survey or quality assurance review experience is preferred.

job summarythe health program supervisor/expert is responsible for supervising the operations of one or more public health programs or program teams, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, overseeing strategic direction, and serving as the agency's primary expert in a designated public health domain.
primary responsibilitiesthe assignment of supervisory duties is determined by the hiring agency's operational needs. Non-supervisory roles will serve as senior technical experts.supervise, mentor, and evaluate program staff including coordinators, specialists, and support personnel engaged in program development, delivery, or compliance monitoring.serve as the subject matter expert (sme) for a specific public health domain such as chronic disease prevention, infectious disease control, environmental health, maternal and child health, or emergency preparedness.oversee
