Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Verification Specialist to join our background screening team. The role involves conducting accurate and timely employment verifications as part of pre-employment background checks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end employment verifications for background screening purposes
  • Reach out to employers, HR departments, and references via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Verify candidate employment details including job titles, tenure, responsibilities, and reasons for leaving
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and client standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and update verification records in internal systems
  • Meet defined turnaround time (TAT) and productivity targets
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues when required
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (background screening, verification, BPO, or related field preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and quick-learning environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and data entry systems

  • Experience in employment verification other background screening fulfillment processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Problem-solving mindset with a high level of accountability
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes quickly
