The HR Generalist position provides comprehensive HR support across payroll, benefits, employee relations, onboarding, training and compliance — all while delivering exceptional internal customer service to our employees and leaders.
This position requires a self-starter with five years of HR experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle a wide variety of responsibilities with professionalism, patience, approachability and discretion.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Administration – Process weekly payroll accurately and on time (experience with Paylocity a strong plus).
- Benefits Administration – Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries.
- Onboarding & Offboarding – Coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including electronic and physical data, orientation, and file setup; manage termination processes in compliance with company policy.
- File & Data Management – Maintain organized and compliant personnel records, both physical and digital.
- Employee Relations – Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and resolution to HR-related questions and concerns.
- Compliance – Ensure all HR practices comply with company policies and federal, state, and local laws.
- HR Department Support – Assist with projects, audits, reporting, and other initiatives to support company goals.
- Internal Customer Service – Deliver timely, professional, friendly and solution-oriented service to all employees.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience across multiple functional areas.
- Strong payroll processing experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative, approachable style.
- High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Paylocity experience a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience across multiple functional areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
