Job Description:
Deployment & Operations:
- Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) from Cisco and Palo Alto (C9200, C9300X, C9200, PA5500). Ensure all network systems adhere to security and compliance standards. Make sure there is the least user interruption with any deployment or migrations.
- Troubleshooting of complex network issues, performing deep-dive analysis, root cause isolation, and permanent resolution for incidents affecting end users.
- Develop and implement network automation tools and scripts (e.g., using Python, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline operational tasks, provisioning, and configuration management.
- Proactively monitor network performance and capacity, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to improve latency and throughput.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in an enterprise and large-scale network engineering, design, and operations, preferably within an ISP, large enterprise, or cloud/tech environment.
- Good to have Linux Operating system experience.
