Job Purpose and Scope

Responsible for providing IT support as directed by the CIO.

Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for oversight and management of all IT and communication related systems. This includes but is not limited to: PC's and associated software.
  • Responsible for performing PC installation, repair, peripheral setup, networking up to the router, hardware repair/replacement, as well as software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for performing items such as hardware testing, virus detection and removal, spyware detection and removal, software optimization, and other duties as required.
  • Coordination of security related installations, repair, and maintenance.
  • Responsible for installing new PC's including the necessary software installations and updates.
  • Responsible for basic Windows server management.
  • Responsible for identifying issues and coordinating with IT manager and/or department heads as required.
  • Responsible for providing training on user applications as required.
  • Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and optimization on PC's and software.
  • Responsible for resolving computer issues (hardware, software, peripheral, operation, etc). Performed in person when available, via phone, or remotely.
  • Responsible for performing administrative functions such as password resets, initialization of PC, etc.
  • Responsible for basic Microsoft products including O365 and Azure management.
  • Responsible for monitoring the mail filter.
  • Perform other requests and directives as directed by the CIO.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management with or without reasonable accommodation.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of the latest PC operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
  • Ability to train and work with end users is a must.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with O365.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage projects, track progress, and work with deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects concurrently.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Related job experience may be substituted for a degree.
