Location: Hot Springs National Park

Demand Planner

This position is responsible for sourcing products, managing inventory, issuing purchase orders, supporting the sales team, and maintaining vendor relationships. The Purchaser / Demand Planner plays a critical role in ensuring products are available when needed while optimizing costs and maintaining accurate system records.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Issue purchase orders and manage customer order sourcing
  • Maintain and update inventory based on "90 Day Report" to optimize stock levels and pricing discounts
  • Assist sales representatives with product orders and specifications
  • Interface with customer service, freight planning, accounting, and other departments as necessary
  • Source new vendors, manage sampling, and assist with vendor approval processes
  • Maintain data integrity, including part numbers, descriptions, and duplicate prevention
  • Read and interpret commodity specifications and blueprints as needed
  • Manage multiple projects and conversations concurrently
  • Stay up to date on daily emails and communications via Outlook
  • Uphold confidentiality of company proprietary information
  • Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of documented computer skills
  • Preferred 1 year of purchasing assistant or purchasing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and utilize the S2K inventory system
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory management
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
