What is the Future Builders program?

Lennar’s Future Builders Program is designed for highly motivated early career professionals seeking to launch their careers. Participants will develop essential interpersonal and technical skills while working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. Through structured onboarding, hands‑on training, and professional development, Future Builders will contribute to impactful projects and gain deep exposure to key areas across Lennar.

High‑performing participants may have the opportunity to transition into full‑time roles upon program completion. The Homebuilding track is a one‑year, developmental program for recent graduates that prepares participants for careers in core business operations. The start date for the program will be June 2027.

Program Locations

This program will run in multiple Lennar divisions across the U.S., giving you the opportunity to launch your career in a market where our communities are actively growing. Placement is based on business need, program fit, and your location preferences, and your assigned division will be confirmed prior to your start date.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following areas:

Land Acquisition
  • Support the Land Acquisition team in researching potential land opportunities.
  • Assist with due diligence activities and project tracking.
  • Participate in acquisition meetings and project updates.
  • Gain exposure to entitlement and rezoning processes.
  • Maintain reports, contracts, maps, and acquisition documentation.
  • Support market research and long‑range planning efforts.
Land Development
  • Support residential land development projects by monitoring schedules, budgets, permits, and milestones.
  • Assist with coordinating contractors, consultants, and field partners.
  • Participate in site visits and field inspections.
  • Review engineering plans, environmental studies, andpermitdocuments.
  • Assist with budgets, project costs, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop an understanding of the full land development lifecycle.
Construction
  • Support Construction Managers in overseeing daily community site activities and trade partner performance.
  • Conduct regular site walks tomonitorprogress, quality, scheduleaccuracyand readiness.
  • Helpmaintainsafe, clean, and organized community sites.
  • Assist with project documentation, purchase orders, and construction records.
  • Support invoice validation, daily logs, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Care, and Operations teams.
Purchasing
  • Gain hands‑on experience with core purchasing systems, including

    Build Pro
  • Own live cost‑tracking projects and help reconcile material and labor cost changes across active communities.
  • Participate in trade negotiations, SOW reviews, and vendor meetings alongside senior purchasing leaders.
  • Build compliance and specification packages covering LEED, ADA, and buyer premium program requirements.
  • Learn to read site plans and perform simulated takeoffs (SIMs), a specialized homebuilding skill.
