The Warehouse General Manager is responsible for leading large-scale distribution and fulfillment operations with a focus on safety, service, efficiency, and cost control. This role oversees end-to-end warehouse performance, drives continuous improvement, and builds strong leadership capability across operations. The position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational strategy, team development, and overall business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Direct day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring consistent execution of operational plans and performance targets
- Lead, coach, and develop management teams and frontline leaders to strengthen accountability and engagement
- Drive safety programs and ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage labor planning, productivity, and workforce optimization to meet service and cost objectives
- Oversee inventory accuracy, material flow, storage, and fulfillment processes to support customer commitments
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, using data to identify trends and implement improvements
- Partner cross-functionally to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain and business goals
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and employee experience
- Manage budgets, control operating expenses, and support long-term operational planning
- Proven leadership experience managing large warehouse or distribution center operations
- Strong background in logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management within a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of safety standards, labor management, and operational best practices
- Experience using performance metrics and reporting tools to drive decisions
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational leadership experience preferred
