As the Accounting Manager at R&R Solutions, you will apply your accounting expertise to analyze financial information and generate comprehensive financial reports. Your role will encompass compiling and documenting business transactions, preparing entries to general ledger accounts, and assisting with the monthly closing process. You will facilitate monthly financial meetings with the executive team by providing critical insights and statistical analyses that highlight trends and project the company's financial position.
Collaborating closely with an outside CPA firm, you will ensure accurate annual reviews, audits, and tax returns while engaging in year‑round tax planning.
This position also involves managing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, supervising a team member, and implementing effective customer billing practices. You will play a vital role in promoting compliance with accounting principles and identifying areas for operational improvement within the organization's accounting framework.

Timely problem identification and resolution, along with strong information‑gathering abilities, are crucial.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting business periodicals, technical procedures, and composing reports is necessary. Practical problem‑solving capabilities are essential, especially in dynamic situations with limited standardization. A solid knowledge of Quick Books software and the ability to develop strategies aligned with organizational goals will further enhance your success in this role, as you assess the organization's strengths and weaknesses.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or related curriculum and ten years progressive experience and/or training to include leadership and supervisory experience. Logistics, ITAD, and Project Management industry experience preferred.
- Collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Knowledge of Quick Books software.
- Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands organization's strengths and weaknesses.
