Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Portfolio and Product Management, this role is responsible for managing the enterprise portfolio management office (EPMO) to ensure projects are executed effectively and align with the organization's business strategy and goals. This is a newly created role aimed at embedding program and project management as a core discipline across the organization in support of SERVPRO business and system transformation.
The ideal candidate will implement and continuously improve enterprise-wide standards, processes, templates, and governance to ensure project management maturity aligns with strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading PMOs, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to right‑size practices for the organization's maturity level. This role will manage a team of program and project managers and partner closely with functional leaders across business and technology to drive project excellence in support of SERVPRO’s business strategy and transformation.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to promote alignment. The ability to engage all levels of the organization to explain why, how, and when our business and systems are changing is key to success. An exceptional storyteller is critical for aligning, inspiring and mobilizing cross‑functional teams.
- Develop and manage enterprise-wide portfolio management standards, processes, templates, and governance to ensure consistency and quality in program and project execution.
- Lead the intake process for cross‑functional work requests, from initial intake through prioritization and selection with senior leadership. Partner closely with Finance to oversee business case development and approval processes.
- Manage the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of progress, resource allocation, risk mitigation, interdependencies, and issue management. Develop project roadmaps and ensure alignment with strategic objectives in a clear, meaningful way.
- Provide accountability for successful delivery of initiatives managed by the EPMO (scope, timeline, and budget).
- Develop and implement portfolio, program, and project‑level performance metrics and reporting to track progress, identify issues, and inform decision‑making.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by conducting post‑project reviews and incorporating lessons learned into EPMO practices and processes.
- Tailor PMO practices to align with the organization's maturity level, ensuring that processes remain efficient, flexible, and scalable as the business evolves.
- Manage and develop the PMO team, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to program and project managers to improve their skills and effectiveness.
- Lead the Project Management Center of Excellence for HQ to embed project management as a core discipline across departments through playbooks, templates, tools, and training.
- At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross‑functional programs and projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading large‑scale transformations and mentoring and developing project management staff.
