Aboutthe role
The Director of Landscaping is responsible for effectively leading the landscaping department and the vehicles department. The Director will plan and implement procedures, systems and controls to ensure an efficient landscaping department.
What you will do- Develop, implement and execute the landscaping strategy for the Resort
- Manage the Profit and Loss statement for the Landscaping Department
- Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and maintain good relations between Landscaping and other departments in the hotel.
- Lead the activities of all staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
- Hire, train, and manage, schedule, discipline and plan activities of landscaping department and manage the employee performance reviews process.
- Ensure that effective preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Passion for horticulture that enhances the guests' experience.
- Certification in horticulture is required.
- Applicants must have three to five previous employment in a related position in a luxury environment.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must possess extensive knowledge of the relevant field
