The Supply Chain WIP Inventory Analyst - Manufacturing is responsible for monitoring and managing the work-in-progress inventory in our manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless flow between production stages. This role is crucial in maintaining accuracy and efficiency, to support optimal production schedules and output.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Monitoring:
Track WIP inventory throughout the production process, ensuring accuracy of inventory levels and smooth transitions between production phases. - Data Analysis:
Analyze WIP inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies, offering actionable insights to improve production efficiency and inventory accuracy. - Reporting:
Generate reports on WIP inventory metrics, providing visibility into production flow, stock levels, and process efficiency; present findings to management. - Coordination:
Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and smooth transitions through manufacturing stages. - Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in WIP inventory management practices, implementing lean principles and strategies to enhance workflow and reduce waste. - Cycle Counting:
Conduct regular cycle counts of WIP inventory, reconciling variances and implementing corrective measures to ensure data integrity. - System Management:
Utilize ERP and inventory tracking systems to maintain accurate WIP inventory records, and assist in the integration of technology solutions to improve traceability and reporting.

Required Technical And Professional ExpertiseMinimum of [2-4] years of experience in inventory management, preferably with a focus on WIP inventory in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of interpreting complex data to drive decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- LEAN and AGILE Methodologies:
Exposure to LEAN and AGILE practices in a manufacturing environment, with an understanding of how to apply these principles to drive transformation and improve efficiency. - DESIGN THINKING Principles:
Familiarity with DESIGN THINKING principles and their application in a manufacturing setting, with the ability to utilize these principles to drive innovation and improvement. - Cloud and Data Knowledge:
Basic understanding of cloud and data technologies, including how they relate to manufacturing operations and the delivery of essential products and services to clients.
