Position: Materials Handler (2nd shift)
Location: Ash Flat

Job Description

The role involves the transportation and handling of products and materials within the facility, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety and record-keeping standards.

Responsibilities
  • Transport products and materials throughout the facility using forklifts, overhead lifts/cranes, push carts, and manual methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of all parts moving to and from the racks.
  • Count, weigh, and document the number of material units handled.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist in physical inventory assessments.
  • Load picked orders onto trailers according to specifications and sequence, and complete the required paperwork.
  • Unload, move, stack, and stage customer products and materials by hand and with motorized equipment while keeping appropriate records.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent ability to read, write, and perform high school‑level mathematics.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to perform dynamic activities (reaching, stretching, bending, twisting) and carry objects.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification written exam and driving demonstration.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in any field.
  • 1 to 3 years of consistent work experience.
  • Prior forklift certification.
