Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 + $1.00 shift differential

Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

• The packaging operator performs both bagging and baler functions as determined by the Shift Leads.
• Operates machinery productively while following safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assists other production areas as needed.
• Moves and wraps completed products.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and stands for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
• Assists Shift Leads to start and stop the pellet mills.
• Communicates moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
• Maintains a clean workstation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Operates bagging, baler, shrink‑wrapping machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bag sealers.
• Stacks bags on pallets, covers pallets, and places finished goods in the correct warehouse location.
• Completes the Bagger production report accurately, fills pellet sample cups for every ton, and tags pallets with quality control information.

• Stacks bales on pallets, seals bales with an iron, and wraps pallets.
• Completes the Baler Operator production report accurately, checks bale weight, and records information on reports and quality control tags.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Demonstrates good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Completes company forklift training.
• Reads and interprets scales.
• Has mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for adjusting baler weight and timing, and simple maintenance.
• Can perform simple math calculations.
