Responsibilities- Relocate and straighten printing department sheeted stock to the cutting press assigned to the work order.
- Assist Cutting Operator with breaks while completing all procedures and documentation regarding the cutting process in a safe manner.
- Follow all plant rules, processes, hygiene and allergen procedures related to the production of Safe Quality Foods.
- Report to person of authority any potentially unsafe conditions that may result in unsafe foods or non‑compliance to SQF procedures.
- Participate in SQF root‑cause and corrective actions as required.
- Verify the correct work order is placed at each assigned work center.
- Ensure all products are manufactured to company/customer specifications.
- Document all defects in Gain Seeker and place them in the appropriate area.
- Accurately report all issues and confirm completion of duties.
- Handle downtime and maintenance work orders.
- Confirm all confirmation tickets from printing are labeled correctly.
- Obtain needed materials and stage required material for cutting.
- Assist with the make‑ready process and troubleshoot issues such as cutting off, feeder trips and waste accumulation.
- Pull schedule from SAP for all cutting work centers and use SAP pick‑list to verify all materials are located.
- Report missing loads to Lead and Supervisor and perform any other assigned duties.
- Perform preventive maintenance as required.
- Report off‑color, coating stickers and damaged goods to CI and Supervisor.
- Mentor/training others to perform job duties.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks: pallet jack inspection, sweeping, emptying recycling bins, removing table sheets from cutting press, painting cutter and other areas as needed.
- Ensure new hires or general helpers assigned to equipment are trained to maintain a running cutter.
- High school diploma or GED.

- Prior manufacturing experience.

- Must be in good physical condition.
