Job Title: Storekeeper 1st Year-Plant Storekeeper (eligible as Storekeeper 1st Year, Storekeeper O/1, Storekeeper O/2, or Plant Storekeeper based on experience and qualifications).

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect deliveries/shipments.
  • Pull and prepare materials and equipment for shipment in accordance with DOT requirements.
  • Order and issue materials and supplies as needed to support operations and maintenance.
  • Organize and maintain records of all transactions in compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts, reconcile inventory, and stock material.
  • Operate forklift and/or crane.
  • Maintain and use CPC for vendor stocking following all CPC policies.
  • Work with Senior/Planner Scheduler to secure parts for work orders and schedules.
  • Research material questions and coordinate resolution of problems.
  • Identify, inspect, prepare, and process materials for salvage or disposal.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have a current motor vehicle operator’s license in good standing.
  • Must have computer skills and experience working in programs such as Passport and Work Management.
  • Be willing to attend and take part in safety meetings.
  • Be neat, clean, and orderly in work and personal appearance.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., operate forklifts, and perform basic math calculations.
  • Should be able to perform at a high level without detailed supervision.
  • Ability to organize and establish priorities and work under pressure.
  • Willing to work extended hours during emergency conditions.
  • Available for callouts.
Minimum Education Required
  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Preferred:
    • Associates Degree.
Minimum Experience Required
  • Prior storeroom or parts management experience required.
Minimum Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Required
  • Ability to learn the nomenclature of standard electric utility material.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred:
    • Indus Asset Suite experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Etc. Required
  • Preferred:
    • Forklift certification.
