IBM is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Manufacturing New Products Coordinator to support the successful introduction of new products from release through shipment. This role bridges Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure seamless execution across all phases of production in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Engineering teams to facilitate end‑to‑end execution of new product introductions, from initial release through final shipment
- Oversee assembly, test, and shipping processes, working directly with Manufacturing teams on the production floor
- Provide real‑time feedback and insights to cross‑functional support groups to improve processes and outcomes
- Track and present status updates on new product orders throughout all stages of production
- Drive daily execution and ensure key milestones are achieved, especially during General Availability (GA) timelines
- Lead follow‑up actions and coordinate issue resolution across teams to maintain schedule integrity
- Support and guide Manufacturing teams through a high‑paced and evolving work environment

- Exposure to Manufacturing Processes:
Familiarity with manufacturing GEM process and troubleshooting techniques to identify, prevent, and resolve test failures throughout the manufacturing process. - Experience Working with Engineering Teams:
Collaboration with engineering teams to model new processes and products, providing technical expertise to ensure successful implementation. - Understanding of Technical Guidance:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures to guide and mentor operators on efficient and effective production. - Familiarity with Cross-Functional Meetings:
Exposure to presenting and reporting status at manufacturing and cross‑functional meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with team goals. - Basic Understanding of IBM Products:
Knowledge of various IBM product generations on different manufacturing areas, aligning with the organization's strategy and objectives.
- LEAN Practices Knowledge:
Familiarity with LEAN practices to support IBM's Strategy and transformation, utilizing efficient and effective methods to drive results. - AGILE Methodologies Exposure:
Exposure to AGILE methodologies, applying iterative and incremental approaches to support project and program execution. - DESIGN THINKING Principles:
Understanding of DESIGN THINKING principles, focusing on user‑centered solutions to drive innovation and growth.
