Blow Mold Operator

Location Address: 1000 South 2nd Street

• Operate and troubleshoot blow molding equipment to produce various sizes of bottles used in the production of dairy and drink products for sale at Weis Markets retail locations.
• Receive, unload, and perform quality assurance testing for the plastic resin used in the production of various size bottles for use either by Weis Markets or sale to third‑party customers.
• Develop working knowledge of the debagging operation to ensure proper production procedures.
• Assist in the completion of preventative maintenance performed and repairs on all equipment.
• Participate and maintain compliance with HACCP plan, associated quality control programs and documentation.
• Responsible for maintaining the commitment to food safety and food quality in compliance with Weis Markets, DEP (Department of Environmental Protection), PDA, FDA and SQF, etc.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

• High school diploma or general education (GED) and one (1) year experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot blow molding equipment.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, safety, and maintenance procedures.
