Supervisor Feed Mill - 1st Shift - Bergman, AR

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the production and delivery of high‑quality feed to Tyson growers at the lowest possible cost while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

• Keep a daily drug inventory for FDA compliance.
• Obtain daily driver reports to ensure DOT compliance.
• Manage personnel in the Housekeeping and Preventive Maintenance departments.
• Coordinate production schedules and corresponding inventories.
• Hold monthly safety meetings to correct problems in both Mill and Trucking operations.
• Plan the budget on a quarterly basis.
• Keep upper management informed and perform other responsibilities as needed.

• High school diploma required; a degree or equivalent experience in agriculture preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a feed mill, poultry, farm, or related agricultural position; poultry feed mill knowledge preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System, Microsoft Excel, and data entry.
• Supervisory experience: responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar or interrelated tasks.
• Possible travel between feed mill, farms, and plant.
• Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl; animal welfare background check required.
