Georgia-Pacific’s Oriented Strand Board (OSB) plant in Fordyce, Arkansas seeks a safety‑oriented individual to join as a Maintenance Technician
. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment to increase uptime and reliability, supporting the facility’s production and quality goals.

Georgia‑Pacific operates a large OSB plant that produces building‑material products such as wall, floor, and roof sheathing. The team emphasizes safety and health excellence, striving for an injury‑free workplace in a demanding industrial environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
• Perform periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before failure.
• Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels.
• Collaborate with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, wearing required personal protection equipment.

• Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance within an industrial, military, agricultural, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with fabrication and welding.

• At least two (2) years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance within an industrial, military, or manufacturing environment.
