JOB DESCRIPTIONProvides support to the Power Department in the form of day‑to‑day leadership, project management, temporary supervision (including shifts), inventory management, production scheduling, maintenance planning, and operator training. Provides support for shutdowns and shutdown planning. Participates in department incident investigations and serves in the department’s weekend duty rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS- High School diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of the TABE, CRC, or Nowlin Test
- Post secondary studies in a technical discipline are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience.
- Advanced knowledge is needed in safety.
- Knowledge in the Recovery Boiler/Recaustizing Process
- Analytical problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally
- Quality Assurance
Demonstrated ability to manage by influence, working with a group as a team member or the ability to lead by example.
