Overview

This entry-level, non-skilled general labor position focuses on maintaining a safe work environment and complying with Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for general labor openings. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Lifting up to 40 lbs (or more as required) is possible. The job may involve standing 8–10 hours on hard floors and performing repetitive motions.

Work is performed in environments that can be cold, damp, hot, or humid with slippery surfaces. Some weekend work may be required.

• Perform general labor tasks as assigned while following safety guidelines and Tyson policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report hazards.

• Ability to stand for long periods (8–10 hours) on hard floors.
• Repetitive motions and lifting up to 40 lbs (weight varies by area).
• Ability to work in cold, damp, hot, or humid environments with slippery surfaces.
• Physical ability to perform tasks described above; some weekend work may be required.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Nashville Plant.
• Rehires are subject to a 1-year waiting period; other role-specific eligibility criteria may apply.
