Our client, industry-focused manufacturing is seeking a Tool Maker to join their team. As a Tool Maker, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Tool Maker
Location: Ash Flat, AR
Pay Range: $25-$32hr
Shift: 1st shift 7am- 3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Set up, operate, and adjust manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
- Build, repair, and modify tooling, fixtures, and prototype components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Support process improvements and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
What's Needed?
- 4+ years of experience in tool making, machining, or related fields.
- Strong manual machining skills with lathes, mills, grinders, and other tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Experience working with tight tolerances of .001 or closer.
- Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
