Our manufacturing facility in Decatur, Arkansas, controls the entire production process, from quality checks on raw materials to shipment of finished products. Employees take pride in producing foods that pets rely on.

The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and disassembling processing equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). You will operate multiple types of equipment—including extrusion, injection molding, dryers, cutting, and packaging machinery—according to scheduled production needs. You will maintain the production area, follow safety procedures, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure first‑time right production.

• Set up, operate, and disassemble processing equipment according to SOPs and GMPs and the production schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Monitor product and perform checks to ensure specifications are met.
• Follow the production schedule throughout the shift.
• Adjust equipment during product changeovers.
• Document product quality and ensure highest standards.
• Clean work area following sanitation SOPs and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Use tools to make adjustments, perform small repairs, and basic maintenance.
• Complete rework as necessary.
• Maintain production records and logs in the designated system.
• Perform periodic in‑process quality checks on representative samples.
• Clean, disassemble, and reassemble line equipment for inspection or deep cleaning.
• Set up machine for run by loading product, components, printer material, etc.; adjust settings and obtain line clearance for the next run.
• Actively follow safety procedures and hold others accountable.
• Enforce all company GMPs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• Complete safety system documentation and verify compliance with program standards; report deviations to Supervisor.
• Participate in mandatory safety training and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Report all safety issues, near misses, and injuries.

• Complete quality and food safety system documentation and verify program compliance; report deviations.

• Preserve the integrity of the BRC system by following policies and procedures.

• Assist with material handling, cleaning, and basic quality control checks.

• Mid‑level position requiring some experience and proficiency.
• Perform more complex tasks and operate intermediate machinery.
• Follow procedures with some autonomy and decision‑making authority.
• Conduct setup, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
• Assist in training and guiding less experienced operators.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
