As a Production Operator you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret paint formulation specifications and production orders.
- Measure and weigh raw materials accurately according to established recipes.
- Operate mixing equipment, including mixers, mills, and pumps, to produce paint batches.
- Document all batch production processes and quality control results accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment always.
- Actively communicate with supervisors and team members regarding batch status, issues, or deviations.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies without exception.
Stand for long periods of time. Ability to navigate stairs, bend, reach.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials or equipment, often weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Endurance to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks without fatigue.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery, requiring good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to manipulate small parts and components accurately.
- Capability to move around the production area, which may involve bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to navigate equipment and work spaces safely.
- Good coordination to operate machinery and perform tasks that require simultaneous use of hands and feet.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, or humidity, depending on the manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to respond to emergency situations, which may require quick physical responses
- While not strictly physical, the ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively is essential in a batch‑making environment.
