** Position Summary
** Washington Regional's Trauma Surgery is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider, to join our team. This is a hospital-based nocturnist position.
** Essential Position Responsibilities
*** Surgical consultations and responding to ED for trauma alerts.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
* Assist in diagnosing and managing medical and surgical conditions.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and treatments.
* Ensure accurate documentation and complete discharge summaries.
* Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
** Qualifications**
* *
* Education:
** Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification or Physician Assistant program
* ** Licensure and
Certifications:
** Arkansas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License and CPR, required. National certification, required
* *
* Experience:
** Minimum 3 years’ experience in trauma surgery or critical care preferred
* ** EMR:
** EPIC EMR experience preferred
** Work Environment:
** This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
