Those working in the Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) will benefit professionally from collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, and implementing innovative patient care practices. Key Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state of Arkansas or compact state
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and interventions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Experience with monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating roles in the Cath Lab is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other specialized procedures
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain sterile field and ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques
  • Provide comprehensive patient education and emotional support
  • Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately
  • Adhere to protocols for diagnostic and interventional procedures
