We are looking for an RN for our Emergency Department at Howard Memorial Hospital. We are a critical access hospital located in Nashville, Arkansas. We provide comprehensive patient-focused care in a variety of settings- emergency, surgical, inpatient and outpatient-delivered by skilled medical professionals. Our not-for-profit status ensures that all financial resources remaining after expenses are re-invested in the hospital to improve technology, the facility and patient services.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work with cultural diversity
- Participates in patient/family/staff education.
- Collaborates with other staff and ancillary departments as a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provides safe practice in all aspects of patient care activities.
- Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.
- RN licensed in State of Arkansas or Compact Licenses
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- BLS/ACLS required; PALS/TNCC preferred.
- PALS within one-year entry into position. TNCC within 3 years of entry into position
- NIH Stroke Scale annual certification required
- At least 2 years nursing experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Unit
Must be in good standings with HR.
