Pleasantview Care Center is a compassionate long term care and skilled nursing community dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team and support safe, accurate medication administration.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications accurately and safely under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Document medication administration in accordance with facility procedures
- Report medication discrepancies, adverse reactions, or changes in resident condition
- Assist residents with daily living tasks as assigned (activities, hygiene, meals, etc.)
- Maintain medication carts, supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Support the nursing team with additional duties as needed
- Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification for the state of Ohio
- STNA certification active in Ohio
- Experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident focused
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
