Job Overview

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital – White Hall, AR. Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health – Full Time, Night Shift (7:00PM – 7:00AM).

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Document patient care and keep accurate records.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family as appropriate.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfers, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Oversee and support psychiatric technicians, coordinate unit activities, monitor patient safety, respond to crises or behavioral escalations, and act as clinical decision‑maker overnight.

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• Previous behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
