Overview
This registered nurse position in the Orthopedics department involves providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training. The RN is expected to demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and adherence to departmental policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive experience.
Responsibilities- A new RN graduate or a licensed RN in good standing in Arkansas; BSN preferred.
- Applies basic nursing knowledge to meet standards of care.
- Practices as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.
- Not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
- Requires Healthcare CPR; some areas may require ACLS, PALS, or NALS (training provided).
- Specialty units offer and require specific specialty education.
The role is authorized for 72 hours bi-weekly and operates on day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
