Our 36-bed behavioral health unit will offer a continuum of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adults and senior citizens, including crisis stabilization for acute mental health and substance use disorders; detoxification from alcohol and drugs; and treatment for anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and many other behavioral health concerns.

A Intake & Assessment RN who excels in this role:

• Accurately perform patient assessments andidentifyindividual care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver care appropriate tothe condition and age of each patient.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities ina timelyandaccuratemanner.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Performtimelyandaccurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work with children, adolescents, adults (18 and over) or geriatric patients experiencing mental illness and acute psychiatric crisis.

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications:
  
  AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licenses:
  Must have a current state or compact state RN license.
• Education:
  
  Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
• Previous Behavioral Health Experience Required
• Previous Intake & Assessment Experience Preferred
