Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will contribute to a high standard of nursing care for patients in a 40-bed unit. Our facility specializes in providing comprehensive care with a focus on effective patient assessment and management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families about health management and medication adherence.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have at least 1-2 years of Registered Nurse experience in a Med/Surg setting.
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification are required; ACLS is also required.
- Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
