Position: Marketing & Growth Research Executive (Quantitative)
Location: Manila

About the Role

Salmon is looking for a Research Executive (Quantitative Research) to join our Marketing Research Team.

This role is ideal for a researcher who enjoys turning business questions into structured, data-driven insights. You'll play a key role in designing, executing, and analyzing quantitative research studies that help shape product, marketing, and business decisions across the organization.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about survey research, highly analytical, and comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders. You'll support a variety of research initiatives, including customer satisfaction studies, audience segmentation, concept testing, product feedback surveys, and ad hoc business research projects.

As a trusted research partner, you'll work closely with Marketing Managers, Product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that customer insights are captured effectively and translated into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Quantitative Research & Survey Management

* Design and execute quantitative research studies from planning through reporting.

* Develop survey questionnaires that align with research objectives and business needs.

* Manage survey programming, testing, deployment, and fieldwork coordination.

* Ensure high standards of data quality, research rigor, and methodological consistency.

* Support customer, market, and product research initiatives through survey-based research.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

* Analyze survey data to identify trends, patterns, and customer insights.

* Translate research findings into clear and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

* Develop research reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.

* Support evidence-based decision-making through timely and accurate research outputs.

Research Operations & Knowledge Management

* Build and maintain a centralized variable library for quantitative research.

* Document standardized definitions, methodologies, and reusable audience segments.

* Contribute to improving research processes, templates, and best practices.

* Help establish consistent research standards across projects.

Stakeholder Partnership

* Collaborate closely with Marketing Managers to support customer feedback, product testing, and internal survey initiatives.

* Help stakeholders translate business questions into effective research designs.

* Provide guidance on survey structure, measurement approaches, and interpretation of results.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure research findings are integrated into decision-making.

Team Development & Research Excellence

* Mentor junior researchers in survey design, research execution, and quantitative analysis.

* Support the development of team capabilities and research best practices.

* Contribute to a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and high-quality research execution.

Qualifications

Required

* 3+ years of experience in quantitative research, market research, consumer insights, analytics, consulting, or a related field.

* Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and analyzing survey-based research.

* Experience conducting studies such as customer satisfaction research, segmentation, product testing, brand tracking, or user feedback studies.

* Strong survey design and questionnaire writing skills.

* Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting quantitative data and generating actionable insights.

* Experience using research and analytics tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or survey platforms.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear business recommendations.

* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

* Experience working in technology, fintech, consumer products, or fast-growing organizations.

* Experience mentoring junior researchers or supporting team capability development.

* Familiarity with dashboarding and data visualization tools.

* Experience collaborating with Marketing, Product, Growth, or Customer Experience teams.

* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.
