Van Andel Institute’s Hong Li’s Laboratory, led by Hong Li, Ph.D. is seeking to hire a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow

The Li Lab focuses on the structural mechanisms at atomic levels of RNA-associated processes and biotechnology, including CRISPR immunity and ribosome biogenesis. As a Postdoctoral Fellow you can expect to focus on structural and biochemical characterizations of these systems.

Role: Postdoctoral Fellow (full-time)

Laboratory: Li Lab, Van Andel Institute

Perform structural and biochemical characterizations of RNA-associated processes and biotechnology systems, including CRISPR immunity and ribosome biogenesis, under the guidance of the Li Lab principal investigator.

• Recent Ph.D. with publication(s) in biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, or related fields.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional research productivity and independent management of the project.
• Detail-oriented mindset with critical thinking to design experiments and solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Salary begins at $71,000 per year. Postdoctoral Fellows are full-time employees. Benefits include:
