As an Assistant Manager at Burger King, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to‑day operations of the restaurant. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the General Manager to drive performance, coach team members, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. This is a hands‑on leadership position that requires drive, passion, and a relentless pursuit of success.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Support:
Keep the flame going! Oversee daily operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality food, prompt service, and a clean environment. Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and shift execution. - Team Leadership:
Inspire and support your crew. Help with recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching team members to bring out their best, and keep the vibe upbeat and productive. - Guest Satisfaction:
Create a welcoming and positive guest experience with every order. Handle concerns with professionalism and turn frowns into loyal fans. - Inventory & Cost Control:
Assist with inventory counts, supply orders, and managing food and packaging costs – helping the GM keep the restaurant stocked and efficient. - Financial Focus:
Work with the GM to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales and labor goals. Understand the numbers, celebrate wins, and course-correct when needed. - Safety & Compliance:
Ensure food safety standards and cleanliness guidelines are followed. Uphold company policies and health codes – because safe food is happy food!
- Prior restaurant or retail supervisory experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- A natural leader who knows how to motivate and energize a team
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, and ready to jump into any role as needed
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet during shifts
