About the Role

As the Rohr Café Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of Rohr Café while serving as a front-of-house leader and ambassador for exceptional service. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, supporting staff success, and driving operational excellence.

This hands-on leadership position offers the opportunity to directly influence the guest experience, grow café revenue through creative promotions and marketing efforts, and help build a high-performing team. You'll work alongside staff, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure the café consistently delivers quality products and service.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily operations of Rohr Café, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience
  • Serve as the primary front-of-house leader, working alongside staff to support daily business needs
  • Deliver and promote outstanding customer service through prompt, courteous, and professional interactions
  • Coordinate daily café setup, including transporting supplies and products from off-site locations as needed
  • Drive revenue growth through marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and social media engagement
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop café team members
  • Provide real-time coaching, performance feedback, and accountability to support service excellence
  • Create staff schedules that align with operational needs and business demands
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate product availability and stocking
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation throughout the café
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmentally responsible operating practices
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and all applicable local and state regulations
  • Maintain and safeguard café equipment and operational resources

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Additional Information:

The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 47,700 - $62,300. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
