As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting with all store operations during your shift. This includes cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time. In addition, you’ll assist the General Manager with all store operations, including staffing and scheduling, general administrative duties, maintenance scheduling and reporting, and any other tasks needed to ensure successful day‑to‑day operation of the store.

• Safely operate all equipment
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
• Prepare product to Domino’s standards
• Receive and process telephone orders
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
• Assist with all aspects of store operations, including making deliveries or assisting on the makeline if necessary
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
• Other job‑related duties as necessary to ensure smooth store operations

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings if necessary. Must follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and well with others, work well under stress, meet strict quality‑control standards, provide excellent customer service, analyze and compile data, and make good judgments and decisions.

Must possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers to process orders over the phone and in person, and communicate with co‑workers professionally and respectfully at all times.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product or distributing flyers and door hangers
• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside – in‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas
• Fumes from food odors, including exposure to cornmeal dust
• Compact work areas, including walk‑in cooler
• Hot surfaces and tools, including ovens reaching 500°F or higher
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

Including but not limited to:

The driver travels between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location. During delivery, the driver carries pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing duties are performed. Navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.

Use safe driving practices to deliver products within the designated area. Delivery drivers may make several deliveries per shift.

Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. The position lasts approximately 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients. Occasional crouching and bending occur to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching is performed continuously; up, down, and forward. Workers reach above 72 inches occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on a sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
