Insurance Agent

Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in Carlisle, AR. This role will allow you to build and manage your own agency, develop new contacts, and serve the community.

• Develop new contacts and establish yourself as a trusted resource in the community.
• Market and sell Shelter Insurance® products to residential and commercial clients.
• Identify prospects, conduct networking activities, and generate leads.
• Close sales and process applications while maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Meet sales requirements and core business proficiencies set by Shelter.
• Possibly hire and supervise staff to handle general administrative duties and support sales activities.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and company policies.

• Motivated attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong communication skills.
• Background in sales, real estate, retail, education, coaching, or similar is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to work independently and embrace a business‑owner mindset.
• Commitment to developing a self‑managed agency without requiring capital assets.
• Ability to meet sales requirements and complete required training.
