Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yella Wood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Sales Intern for the 2027 Summer Internship Program. This program is an opportunity to experience the lumber industry and workforce like never before. From networking opportunities and real-world projects to community service events, Great Southern provides an incredible opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience.
Responsibilities:- Gaining corporate experience and developing new skills through on-the-job training and exposure to inventory purchases, order entry, and customer service.
- Assisting with sales calls and order entry.
- Gathering and performing analysis to assist the sales team in making decisions.
- Participating in customer visits.
- Assisting with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as needed
- Must be at least a sophomore and actively seeking a Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater.
- Must have experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
